KIZE Bars Review:

Hello fellow SRC’s! I am so excited to share this company with all of you! I was lucky enough to be introduced to Kize bars when I played volleyball at Mizzou. They were all the athletes’ favorite nutrition bars (including mine!!!), and I appreciated the simple ingredients and great taste. I also loved the message on their packaging about how they helped people in the community, and that 10% of the proceeds from every bar went to some sort of cause – a big one being to help fund a trip to Haiti that the company takes every year to help!

Flash forward a couple of years, and I found out they were expanding to Austin, Texas where I live. I jumped on board to help, and am so excited to be sharing this great company and product with Strong Runner Chicks through a giveaway on the SRC Instagram page (go check it out if you haven’t!). Here is a little bit about Kize, and my top three reasons why I LOVE them.

  1. The company itself. The brand’s name “Kize” comes from the Japanese word “Kaizen,” which means becoming and growing into the person you were made to be, your best self! Their name permeates the way they live and the product they make. Kize’s ultimate goal is to help People, and the great tasting bars have simply helped to build a platform to do that. For Kize, it’s about the People, and helping those who they serve to live the best life possible through food, service, and charity.
  2. The ingredients. So, a little bit about the product itself – they are all nut-butter based (I know, enough said) and use 4 to 8 ingredients in each bar. They are sweetened with a local raw honey. Most of the flavors have a grass-fed whey protein isolate, and there are two dairy-free options that use pea protein and egg whites. There is nothing to hide, just great, simple ingredients put together in a bar form to fuel your day in a delicious, nutrient dense, joy-filled way.
  3. The TASTE. Hands down, the best bar I’ve ever had. The texture is perfect, no weird after taste, and 8 great flavors that I can never decide on which one to have. My all-time favorites are pumpkin seed and almond butter, but I honestly go back and forth depending on what I’m feeling at the time, haha. Good news – Kize has enough flavors for each day of the week and then some – Peanut Butter, Cocoa (heat this one up and you might get it confused with a fudgy brownie ; ) ), Pumpkin Seed, Cinnamon Raisin, Vanilla Almond, Cookie Dough, Almond Butter, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip).

So that you can try them, we are so excited to have a special discount code for SRC! Use the code “BeGreatLovePeople” for 10% off your order through the month of November!
